In 2024, Pressidium enhanced its services with powerful plugins and dashboard upgrades. Let’s take a closer look.
We introduced the Cookie Consent Plugin for WordPress sites, offering a completely free, customizable solution that helps site owners comply with regulations like the EU GDPR and CCPA.
This plugin enables the addition of a stylish cookie consent banner and allows conditional loading of third-party scripts based on user preferences, ensuring compliance and optimal site performance.
The plugin is fully accessible and WAI-ARIA compliant, supporting translations with language auto-detection to cater to a global audience. Its responsive design ensures a seamless user experience across all devices. Key features include customizable appearance, auto-clearing of cookies upon user opt-out, script blocking until user consent, and integration with Google Consent Mode v2.
Developed with an emphasis on simplicity and performance, the Pressidium Cookie Consent Plugin integrates seamlessly into any WordPress site without compromising speed or usability. Don’t just take our word for it—see the positive feedback from our users.

Pressidium Dashboard Features
Display Vulnerable Plugin Info
We also introduced a Vulnerable Plugin Detection feature within the Pressidium dashboard to bolster website security.
This tool helps users secure their sites by automating plugin scans and issuing clear alerts.
Users receive immediate alerts via a notification banner atop the Plugins list on their website’s overview screen, enabling prompt action to update or replace compromised plugins.
The dashboard also features a ‘With Security Issues’ filter, allowing users to identify and address plugins requiring immediate attention quickly.
This integration streamlines the security management process by eliminating the need for manual checks or reliance on third-party services. The automated system saves users time and effort, ensuring websites remain secure, functional, and reliable without additional costs.
One-Time Login (Seamless login)
Another dashboard enhancement was implemented by allowing website owners and team members to securely access their WordPress admin area directly from the Pressidium interface.
This functionality generates a temporary, one-time login link, streamlining the login process and eliminating the need for manual credential entry.
To utilize this feature, users navigate to their website’s overview in the Pressidium dashboard, select the “One Time Login for wp-admin” option, and generate the link. The link remains valid for 10 minutes and can be used only once, ensuring security. If the email associated with the Pressidium account matches a registered WordPress user, the system successfully creates the login link.
The Seamless Login feature has been gradually rolled out across the user base, contributing to a more integrated and user-friendly platform experience.
Reset WordPress User Password
In 2024, Pressidium also introduced a dashboard feature that allows Team Owners and Team Admins to reset WordPress user passwords directly from the Dashboard.
This improvement simplifies user management by enabling administrators to promptly address password-related issues without navigating through complex procedures.
To utilize this feature, administrators can access the website overview screen and select the “Reset WordPress user password” option from the action menu in the Domains and SSL section. They can then input the relevant username or email address and set a new, secure password. For added convenience, a built-in password generator is available to create strong passwords automatically.
This feature reflects Pressidium’s commitment to enhancing user experience and security by providing efficient tools for website management.
New Plugin management screen
Plugin Management has also evolved and now has its own space in the Pressidium customer’s dashboard. A new feature that empowers our clients with greater control over their WordPress environments.
The new interface allows users to monitor all installed plugins in one place. Via the Plugins tab, they can:
- Have a quick and clear overview of vulnerabilities and available updates, plus a security status notification to ensure you do not skip any security fixes.
- Manage each plugin’s updates and fixes at their fingertips, ensuring site security and performance.
- With just a few clicks, perform bulk actions like updating, activating, or deactivating plugins.
- Filter the list by status: “Active”, “Inactive”, “Update Available”, and “With Issues”
We’ve also added a Feedback button, enabling users to share their suggestions or report issues directly. This helps us continuously improve the platform based on real user input.
With this feature, we’ve streamlined site management, helping clients effortlessly maintain secure, high-performing websites.
Pressidium’s Growth in 2024
Pressidium significantly expanded its Global Data Center Network by launching six new state-of-the-art data centers.
The new data centers are located in Sydney, Milan, Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid, and São Paulo. They complement Pressidium’s robust existing infrastructure in London, Newark, Ashburn, Santa Clara, and Singapore. This expansion ensures faster load times, reduced latency, and adherence to local data regulations, which are crucial for businesses operating globally.

For agencies, inclusion in the directory offers significant exposure within Pressidium’s expanding network, which grew to over 20 partner agencies in 2024. - Conference Sessions: Notable talks included Pressidium’s designer, Ioanna Aravani’s “Leave a Gap: The Importance of White Space in Web Design,” which captivated audiences with its impactful delivery. Other standout sessions addressed diversity, cybersecurity, and rehumanizing the web.

WordCamp Larissa 2024 (Autumn, Larissa, Greece)
Larissa’s strong WordPress community and convenient location made it the perfect host city. Situated centrally, it attracted attendees nationwide, bridging Athens and Thessaloniki.
Larissa’s consistently high meetup attendance pre-pandemic set the stage for an outstanding event. Thirteen speakers delivered a mix of technical insights and inspiration, with hands-on workshops tailored to the needs of the WordPress community.
